Inscription. The former estate of two remarkable people, Oakes and Blanche Ames. Within this park are several eighteenth and nineteenth century industries, a bog iron operation, a reservoir for Easton Furnace, early Easton homes and a stone mansion.
 
Erected 1983 by Easton Historical Commission.
