1. Borderland Marker
Inscription. The former estate of two remarkable people, Oakes and Blanche Ames. Within this park are several eighteenth and nineteenth century industries, a bog iron operation, a reservoir for Easton Furnace, early Easton homes and a stone mansion.
 
Erected 1983 by Easton Historical Commission.
 
Location. 42° 3.657′ N, 71° 9.951′ W. Marker is in Sharon, Massachusetts, in Bristol County. Marker can be reached from Massapoag Ave, on the right when traveling north. Touch for map. Located in Borderland State Park. Marker is in this post office area: Sharon MA 02067, United States of America.
