Inscription. Built circa 1840 along the Genesee Valley Canal. Listed Dec. 6, 2004 in the National Register of Historic Places.
 
Erected by Town of Leicester.
 
Location. 42° 46.541′ N, 77° 52.299′ W. Marker is in Cuylerville, New York, in Livingston County. Marker is on Cuylerville Road (U.S. 20A) 0.2 miles east of River Road, on the right when traveling west. Touch for map.
