Inscription. Al celebrarse el CCL aniversario de la fundacion de San José Del Cabo, la II legislatura del H. Congreso del Estado lo declaró, por este día, capital de la entidad y en sesion publica de esta fecha aprobó la iniciativa enviada por el c. Lic. Angel Cesar Mendoza Aramburo Gobernador Constitucional De Baja California Sur que crea el municipio de Los Cabos, como justo reconocimiento a los esforzados hombres de las delegaciones de Santiago, San José Del Cabo y Cabo San Lucas —III Ayuntamiento Del Municipio De La Paz San Jose Del Cabo, B.C.S Abril 8 de 1980

English translation:
To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of San Jose del Cabo, the second legislature of the Honorable Congress of this State declared on this day at the capital of this entity and in public session that on this date it approved the proposal submitted by the Honorable Angel Cesar Mendoza Aramburo, constitutional governor of Baja California Sur, creating the municipality of Los Cabos, in just acknowledgement of the hardworking men of the delegations from Santiago, San Jose del Cabo, and Cabo San Lucas. —Third City Hall of the Municipality of La Paz, San Jose del Cabo, BCS. April 8, 1980.
