Inscription. Who fought in the French-Indian Wars 1755 - 1763 and its Minute Men who responded so quickly to the Lexington Alarm April 19, 1775 and its Revolutionary Soldiers who did their part in winning the war that gave us our freedom and independence 1775 - 1783 Erected and dedicated by Mendon Historical Society May 5, 1967 in commemoration of the Town's 300th anniversary.

The Mendon Old Cemetery Crypt. In winter, when ground was frozen, corpses were stored in crypts until the ground thawed, graves dug, and burials completed.
