I cannot help but comment on the Monfort farm that was in fact, my Great Grandfathers farm during the Civil War. My Grandfather and my Mother were both born in that house. My Great Uncle Jacob took care of the place during the Battle and wrote a three day letter of the events happening.
I have in my possession a Confederate Saber that was picked up on the farm after the battle. I personally visit the farm every few years. Note To Editor only visible by Contributor and editor
