Location. 42° 57.436′ N, 77° 3.421′ W. Marker is in Phelps, New York, in Ontario County. Marker is on Main Street (New York State Route 96) 0.1 miles east of Church Street, on the left when traveling west. Marker is a little tough to see when going west on Main. It's nearly impossible when traveling east. It's set back from the road and almost in between two buildings. Had I not been walking, I probably would have missed it entirely. Touch for map.
