Inscription. The Marysville Cemetery was founded in 1850 and is the final resting place for numerous personages of national, state and local historical significance.

On May 19, 1994 the State Historical Resource Commission declared the Marysville City Cemetery a California Point of Historical Interest.
 
Erected 1995 by Marysville Lions Club.
