1. Cedar Chalet Bakery Marker

Inscription. The oldest operating bakery in Plumas County. Built by Carl Giese in 1955. This being the 50th anniversary. Bakery first ran by Mr. Murphy, first name unknown. The bakery located on corner of Hwy 36 & Old Hwy 89, formerly called Carl’s Corner. Owned and operated by Ed and Marsha Groover since 1978.

Erected 2005 by E Clampus Vitus, The Vigilantes Chapter No. 1911.
