Stillwater in Saratoga County, New York — The American Northeast (Mid-Atlantic)
The Canadian Cabins
Two small fortified cabins defended by Canadian troops stood about 600 feet south of this site. These cabins were an important link in the British line of defense as can be seen on the reproduction map drawn by an English officer. Their capture late in the afternoon of October 7 exposed the Breymann Redoubt to attack from the rear.
Erected by National Park Service.
