1. Grace Methodist Church Marker
Inscription. After the state capitol was destroyed by fire on February 2, 1897, this church building became the temporary quarters of the state legislature while the new capitol was being constructed.
 
Erected 1968 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
 
Location. 40° 15.816′ N, 76° 53.155′ W. Marker is in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in Dauphin County. Marker is on State Street 0.1 miles west of Third Street. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Harrisburg PA 17101, United States of America.
