Inscription. Site of school house given in 1868 by Frank Baud - a city founder
 
Erected 1963 by Churches and Basque Club.
 
Location. 40° 58.284′ N, 117° 44.01′ W. Marker is in Winnemucca, Nevada, in Humboldt County. Marker is at the intersection of Melarkey Street and W. 5th Street, on the left when traveling south on Melarkey Street. Touch for map.
