1. Vicksburg Cemetery Marker
Inscription.
* Vicksburg was approximately in existence from 1869 until 1878. The small village was located close to the Minnesota River (10 miles south of Renville in Flora Township or a half mile south of this sign). Within the town was a a general store, post office, sawmill, and blacksmith shop. The largest population held 65 people, but soon declined after the Milwaukee Railroad passed through the city of Renville.
 
Location. 44° 39.92′ N, 95° 13.703′ W. Marker is near Delhi, Minnesota, in Renville County. Marker is on County Road 6 0.1 miles north of County Road 15, on the right when traveling north. Touch for map. Marker is 4.6 miles north of Delhi. Marker is in this post office area: Renville MN 56284, United States of America.
