Inscription. Where Major John Andre, British spy, plotter with Arnold, to deliver West Point, was confined before his execution.
 
Erected by State of New York.
 
Location. 41° 1.303′ N, 73° 56.868′ W. Marker is in Tappan, New York, in Rockland County. Marker is on Main Street (County Route 8), on the left when traveling north. Touch for map. Marker is in this post office area: Tappan NY 10983, United States of America.
