In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Order of Canada and the 125th anniversary of Canada as a nation

this plaque has been erected by the recipients of the Order resident in the Province of British Columbia. The Order recognizes accomplishments that have influenced the economic, cultural, scientific and community life of the nation and are representative of the characteristics and qualities that define a Canadian.

Unveiled October 27th, 1992 by His Excellency the Right Honourable Ramon John Hnatyshyn, P.C., C.C., C.M.M., C.D., Q.C., Governor General of Canada, and Chancellor and Principal Companion of the Order of Canada in the presence of the Honourable David C. Lam, C.M., M.B.A., L.L.D., Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia.

A l’occasion du 25e anniversaire de la foundation de L’Ordre du Canada et du 125e anniversaire de la nation Canadienne.

Cette plaque a été érigée par les récipiendaires de l’Ordre en Colombie-Britannique, l’Ordre du Canada honore le réalisations qui, ont modelé la vie sociale, culturelle, scientifique et économique de la nation et qui représentent le qualities et caractéristiques propres aux Candiens.
