1. Brogan Cabin Marker
Inscription. The first concern for the early frontier people who settled in Menomonee Falls was shelter and a structure for their freedom of worship. This house was built in 1842 by Irish immigrants and is a rare example of the primitive but sturdy dwellings erected by the earliest settlers. In addition, it is believed to be the site of the first Catholic Mass in Waukesha.

Location. 43° 11.45′ N, 88° 6.359′ W. Marker is in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, in Waukesha County. Marker can be reached from the intersection of County Line Road (County Route Q) and Pilgrim Road.
