Marker is at the intersection of Main Street (County Route 527) and Von Steuben Lane, on the right when traveling south on Main Street. Touch for map. 5. Abraham Staats House
Baron Von Steuben occupied the Staats House from March to June, 1779, while the Continental Army was encamped in Middlebrook. George Washington and other senior generals were often guests at the house.
