Erected 1998 by Sodus Bay Historical Society.
 
Location. 43° 16.433′ N, 76° 59.135′ W. Marker is in Sodus Point, New York, in Wayne County. Marker can be reached from the intersection of North Ontario Street and Lake Street. Touch for map. Marker is on the east lawn of the Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum. Marker faces the sky, fixed to a boulder. Marker is at or near this postal address: 7606 North Ontario Street, Sodus Point NY 14555, United States of America.
