The inspiration for the design of this tower came from the original Giralda Tower which is a part of the great cathedral of Seville, Spain

 
Erected 1967 by J. C. Nichols Company.
 
Location. 39° 2.524′ N, 94° 35.302′ W. Marker is in Kansas City, Missouri, in Jackson County. Marker is at the intersection of 47th Street (U.S. 56) and Baltimore Avenue, on the right when traveling east on 47th Street. Touch for map.
