On July 17, 2017, while driving around Kansas, as part of my quest to visit all the counties in that state I had not visited before, I stopped and made a simple sketch of this historic marker and old bell along County Route 527 (?) in Rush County, Kansas.
Returning home to Maryland, I was pleased to find your site's information about historic markers generally, which is a most helpful service for the traveling and interested public.
More information about the history of Entre Nous College, and the founder of the school Howard R.Barnard is a reminder about the valued contributions provided different places by individuals who persist in their community service, even when not everything goes quite as well as planned.
It is good to know Howard R.Barnard is still remembered in Rush County, Kansas.
