1. Mark 14 Steam-Driven Torpedo Marker
Inscription. This was the U.S. Navy's primary torpedo in WWII. When fired, compressed air, alcohol and water were mixed and ignited in the combustion chamber to produce the steam that powered the turbines.

Weight-3,200 lbs.; Length-20.5 feet; Diameter-21 inches; Speed/Range-31.5 kts/9,000 yrds-or 46 kts/4,500 yds.
