2. Brumel's Building
fire shutters and brick facade which Moses Brumel had erected. A Brumel cornerstone or engraved stone is in the shop's cellar. It dates from 1854. Two frame buildings burned in 1855 and 1862 fires before this one rose by August, 1863.
