1. Siegmund Lubin Marker
Inscription. Some of the nation's earliest motion pictures were made here between 1897 and 1899 in the backyard of film pioneer Lubin's home. Vaudeville and burlesque routines, boxing matches, circus performers, animal acts, and a Passion Play were among the subjects he filmed.
 
Erected 2007 by Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission.
