Starting his musical career in the 1950's, Kelso Herston became a leader, playing guitar with hundreds of performers, producing more than 50 recording artists, publishing 100+ hit songs and creating more than 5,000 commercial jingles.

Location. 34° 48.406′ N, 87° 37.88′ W. Marker is in Florence, Alabama, in Lauderdale County. Marker can be reached from Hightower Place south of Veterans Drive (Alabama Route 133), on the left when traveling south. Touch for map. Located in River Heritage Park.
