Inscription. Established here by James H. Horner, 1851. Continued by his sons. Moved to Charlotte 1914.

It is on a corner lot at Williamboro and Military Streets is elevated from street level. Photo was taken from the top of old stone steps on Military Street that no longer lead to the front door.
