1. McCald Building Marker
Inscription. On this site was an early firehall. Current structure was built as City Hall housing city offices, Police Dept., and the jail, all of which remained until the mid 40s. Oregon City Beauty School occupied main floor and basement for 22 years. Jail cells still remain in rear of building.
 
Erected by Historic Downtown Oregon City Association.
