Inscription. Simpson-Reed Grove for the perpetual enjoyment of all--This grove was presented to the State of California by the Simpson Timber Company in memory of Mark E. Reed, its president from 1914 to 1955.
 
Location. 41° 48.69′ N, 124° 6.516′ W. Marker is in Crescent City, California, in Del Norte County.
