Founded 1855
B'nai Brith was one of the most vibrant Jewish institutions in San Francisco. It operated seven lodges by 1900. Regional headquarters on this site once housed an extensive library especially strong in Judaica. The Building was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake and fire.
