1. Dr. William Henderson Franklin Marker
Inscription. Dr. Franklin, a very well known and highly respected educator and humanitarian, founded Swift Memorial Junior College in 1883 and served as President of the school until 1926.

Dr. and Mrs. Franklin are buried in this plot on the campus of Swift College in the community where they will be remembered for their contribution in the field on education and community work.
