Two brothers, ages 24 & 22, from New York State,
built their log cabin, dam, and sawmill near this site.

 
Erected 1975 by The Aurora Historical Society.

Marker is at the intersection of Galena Boulevard and the east bank of the Fox River, on the left when traveling east on Galena Boulevard. Touch for map.
