The marker is directly in front of the Municipality building of Alotenango, on the southernmost side of the outdoor patio fronting the building. Marker is in this post office area: Alotenango, Sacatepéquez 03014, Guatemala.

Although the front of the Municipality contains other dedicatory markers related to improvements made to the Municipal building and other similar markers, this additional marker is interesting in that it notes that residential telephone service was finally installed in the town on March 22, 1990.
