In order to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Royal Decree
which founded the University of San San Carlos of Guatemala, presents
this tribute to our alma mater, for her
work in the field of education, her permanent contribution to the
development of Guatemalan culture and for her firm defense of
popular rights and national sovereignty.
