Al McGuire. . One of the most successful coaches in NCAA basketball history. He led Marquette University to the NCAA National Championship in 1977, 2nd place in 1974, and the NIT Championship in 1970, 2nd place in 1967. National Coach of the Year in 1971 and 1974. In his 13 seasons at Marquette University they won 295 games and had 11 consecutive post season appearances. Inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1992 and the Marquette University Hall of Fame in 1980. Played college basketball at St. Johns (NY) and professional basketball with the New York Knicks and Baltimore Bulls. Inducted - 1995
