1. Frederick William Luderus Marker
Inscription. Born, September 12, 1885, at Milwaukee Wisconsin. With the Chicago Cubs in 1910 and the Philadelphia Phillies from 1911 through 1920. Captain and stellar first-baseman of the 1915 National League Champions. He hit .438 against the Boston Red Sox in the World Series of 1915. Elected in 1957.
 
Erected 1958 by Presented to the Hall of Fame by Aluminum Division of Wisconsin Bridge & Iron Company.
