Marker can be reached from Glenn-Viniard Road north of Wilder Road, on the right when traveling north. This marker is located in the national park that preserves the site of the Chickamauga Battlefield, a short distance off a park roadway (Google maps show road as Vittitoe-Chickamauga Road, NPS map show road as Glenn-Viniard Road), north of the Wilder Tower on Glenn Hill. More about this marker. According to the description information provided by the National Park Service, the marker is, “This standard Indiana regimental marker consists of a 4' x 4' x 4'8" high rock-faced oolitic stone block with a peaked top and a 12" x 18" bronze plaque affixed to its front. Marks regiment's position on the north side of Glenn Hill."
