Inscription. Won 360 and lost 202 games as a pitcher for Boston, St. Louis and Philadelphia N.L. teams, 1890-1906. Won 30 or more games for seven consecutive years, 1891-1897 and 20 or more for ten consecutive seasons, 1890-1899. Born, September 14, 1869, at Madison, Wisconsin.
 
Erected 1951 by Presented to the Hall of Fame by the Allis-Chalmers Mfg. Co.
