Norberto Garcia de la Vega
(1906-1937)
Nació en Colón en 1906, hijo del señor José García y de la señora María Dolores de la Vega. En 1928, siendo Regidor Primero, se levantó en armas en defensa de la Libertad Religiosa, ocupando el grado de Teniente dentro del Movimiento Cristero. Presidente Municipal en 1930. Asesinado la mañana del 8 de Agosto de 1937.

English translation:
Norberto García de la Vega
(1906-1937)
He was born in Colón in 1906, son of José García and María Dolores de la Vega. In 1928, as the First Councilman, he took up arms in defense of Religious Freedom, eventually occupying the position of Lieutenant in the Cristero Movement. He was Municipal President in 1930. He was assassinated on the morning of August 8, 1937.
