1. Luxemburg Marker
The first settlers in this area were immigrants from Luxembourg and Germany, founding Saint Wendelin's Parish Church in 1859. The town grew to include a school in 1861, post office in 1863, stores, hotel, livery, creamery, feed mill, and other businesses. Construction of the present church began in 1872. It contains a historically significant pipe organ and artwork.
Erected 2009 by the Luxemburg Lions 4-H Club.

2. Luxemburg Marker
A Liberty Road "borne" to the right.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Luxembourg during World War II, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg sent three copies of this memorial sculpture to the towns of Luxemburg in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. The sculpture commemorates the contributions of the U.S. soldiers who liberated Luxembourg.
