Inscription. This facility is dedicated to the men and women, who battled the 1992 Fountain Fire, and those who have worked and are working to restore this forest to a healthy and productive part of the local ecosystem.
During the dangerous salvage operations after the fire, three loggers lost their lives. They were Steve Tyler Melvin Bently Don Hendrickson
