A finalist for the Butkus Award and All-American in 2011, he led the team in tackles with 130, including 15 for losses. He was named National Defensive Player of the Week vs. Texas A&M. He ranked third in the SEC in tackles and was twice SEC Defensive Player of the Wee. His 20 tackles at Florida in 2012 ranks among the most in a game in LSU history.
