Log Dwelling
Originally a French fort having no doors or windows and a log roof with entrance through a protected underground tunnel, this building was sold and used as a dwelling. At this time, doors, windows, floors and a roof were added. It is restored to present a picture of life as lived by pioneer farmers about 1800. This building was moved 10 miles to this spot.
