C'est l'arpenteur officiel du gouvernement,
M. Black, qui en 1833, donne son nom à ce lieu.
Black pour la patronyme de l'arpenteur et
Creek pour désigner la configuration du lieu.

Le village de D'Israeli (1867~1929)
Après la Reine Victoria, le personnage le plus important
de l'Empire britannique est le Premier Ministre du parti conservateur,
Benjamin D'Israeli (1804~1881), comte de Beaconsfield.
Le nom de la future municipalité vient lui rendre hommage.

Black Creek (1833~1867)
As the official government surveyor,
Mr. Black, gave his name to this place in 1833.
"Black" for the surveyor's surname and
"Creek" to designate the configuration of the place.

The Village of D'Israeli (1867 ~ 1929)
After Queen Victoria, the most important person
of the British Empire was the Prime Minister of the Conservative Party,
Benjamin D'Israeli (1804 ~ 1881), Earl of Beaconsfield.
The name of the future municipality was to honor him.
