Medieval Castle
Late December 1292AD. It has rained heavily overnight but life goes on as usual inside the Castle Garth.
People enter the Garth from the Bailey Gate to go about their business. A wagon full of grain sacks is unloaded to the kitchen on the left where dogs and crows scavenge leftovers.
The stocks sit in front of the Great Hall, reminding the townsfolk that theft is not tolerated.
A royal standard flutters in the wind on top of the Keep. It signals that King Edward I is temporarily in residence, spending Christmas at the Castle.
