Inscription.  The cities of Fismes, France and Meadville, U.S.A. have shared a long history of friendship dating back to World Wars I and II.

In tribute to this special friendship this walkway in Diamond Park shall forever more be known as the Promenade de Fismes.
 
Erected 1995.
