Inscription.  Built 1858 Remodelled 1905 Listed on the National Register of Historic Places Restored By the Griggsville Preservation and Restoration Society Open to Public May 30 1982
 
Erected by Griggsville Preservation and Restoration Society.

2. Skinner House
local doctor and used to have a second half to the left that was a mirror of what remains. His medical practice was downstairs and he lived upstairs. A small outbuilding is now home to an extensive county archive and the home is a museum. The home and archive are open for some events throughout the year or by appointment.
