Edward A. Bennett, PFC, Co. B., 358th. Inf. Regt., 90th Inf. Div. Honored for bravery during combat in Germany, Feb., 1945. Award presented by President Truman in October. Bennett retired from service with the rank of Major on Feb. 1, 1965. He was born Feb. 11, 1920 and died May 2, 1983.
Jimmy G. Stewart, S/Sgt., Co. B, 2nd Bn., 12th Cav. Div. Killed in action in Vietnam, May 18, 1966. He was born December 25, 1942. Honored for courage against overwhelming odds in protecting wounded comrades. Stewart Field, Ft. Benning, Georgia, dedicated to his memory in Feb., 1968.
