Marker is mounted to a large granite rock to the left of the stairway leading to the front entrance doors.
 
Regarding Nevada City Methodist Church. In 2006 the church was featured in the Hallmark Production seen on the Hallmark Channel A Christmas Card, with John Newton, Alice Evans and Ed Asner.
