This granite monument was created by Jack Afonso of Riverside Stone Co. It has three sides that are roughly hewn to symbolize the pain of the victims' families and their difficult journey since the crash.

The EqyptAir Flight 990 Memorial overlooks the ocean where the crash took place. Families of the victims gathered at this location soon after the plane went down.
