Inscription. Organized 1803 as town of Southampton; name changed to Caledonia 1806; Scottish emigrants settled 1799 Village incorporated 1891

Location. 42° 59.148′ N, 77° 51.478′ W. Marker is in Caledonia, New York, in Livingston County. Marker is at the intersection of North Street (New York State Route 36) and Pamela Way, on the right when traveling south on North Street. Touch for map.
