Erected by the Veterans Ass'n 74th Inf. N.G.N.Y. In honor of the members of the 74th Inf. U.S.A. who served in the World War 1917-1918 and in grateful memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice

Regarding American Doughboy "Over the Top" to Victory. The front half of the armory interior was destroyed by fire in 1982 that collapsed the roof. It was rebuilt. The rear half was saved by a firewall.
