1. Buffalo Seminary Marker
Inscription. Founded 1851 as Buffalo Female Academy. First located on Johnson Park, the school moved to present site in 1909. The seminary remains the first and only non-sectarian private high school for girls in western New York.
 
Erected 1975 by Erie County Bicentennial Commission, Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society.
